ALTERATION HIGGOVALE CAPE TOWN

The renovation of this 1980s pseudo-Victorian cottage in St Johns estate in Higgovale required the ground level to be opened up and solid walls to be glazed to let in as much light as possible to the dark living areas. Faux period features were removed and a contemporary open-plan kitchen was added at ground level, opening to a light-filled conservatory space with frameless glass sliding folding doors leading out onto the lush miniature garden.

Muted wall tones and contemporary bespoke joinery were used to maintain an elegant and sophisticated interior.
